Gauge: 20 sts x 26 rounds in Ola pattern with 1 thread Highland Wool and 1 thread Silk Mohair on needle 5 mm = approx. 10 cm x 10 cm. Use the needle size with which you obtain the indicated gauge swatch.
Info! The needle size is a just a recommendation. To achieve the given measurements, I recommend that you first knit a gauge swatch. It is important to determine the correct needle size for the correct measurements. If you knit tighter/ more loosely, go down/ up a needle size. I have worked the sweater on a larger needle size to achieve an airy look. This way, the sweater and pattern get my desired look.
The sweater is worked bottom up on a circular needle. First, you work the body, thereafter both sleeves and finally you place all pieces on one long circular needle to work the yoke with raglan decreases. The sleeves are designed extra-long, so that the sweater gets its own unique touch. The complete sweater is worked with double thread; 1 thread Highland wool and 1 thread silk mohair. Both main and pattern colour are worked with 1 thread Highland wool. With the silk mohair yarn, you have 1 colour for the main colour and 2 colours for the pattern.
For the smallest size, there haven’t been worked any increases at the sleeves (the circumference is the same all the way through). If you prefer slimmer cuffs, cast on 2 pattern repeats less than stated here. Watch out to end with the same pattern repeat at body and sleeves so that you continue with the same repeat at the yoke.
