Pattern for RilleStrikk jacket
This jacket has been my favorite since I knitted it back in spring 2021. Its knitted with Garter Stitch. The yarn that is used in the pattern is Finull (100% Norwegian wool) fra RAUMA garn og Silk Mohair (75% kid mohair og 25% silke) fra ISAGER garn.

All measurements taken with jacket lying flat. Due to the garter stitch pattern, the jacket will be even longer/ wider when worn. For this reason, the sleeves are designed a little shorter.
Info! The complete jacket is worked with double thread, 1 thread Finull and 1 thread Silk Mohair. The jacket is worked flat in garter stitch on a circular needle. The sleeves are worked flat on a circular needle, too. The jacket is worked bottom up – once you have cast off stitches for the armhole openings, place the body on hold and continue working the sleeves. Place all pieces on one circular needle and work the yoke with raglan decreases. Finally, you pick up stitches for the front band along the front edges and the neck. The front band is worked flat on a circular needle. All measurements taken with jacket lying flat. Due to the garter stitch pattern, the jacket will become longer/ wider when worn. Remember to work the decreases for the slight V-neckline, once you work the raglan decreases at the yoke. The jacket is open at the front, the front bands are not placed on top of each other. If preferred, a small press button can be attached to the bottom of the front band, but the jacket is designed without buttons. If preferred, the sleeves can be worked longer than indicated here, before the cuff begins
