It's always nice to have a few extra of scarfs and this one, the Petit Venne Scarf you knit in ITO Hana (60% wool, 20% silk and 20% alpaca) and ITO Sensai (60% kid mohair and 40% silk). Then you will get an exclusive edition of a scarf, these yarn qualities are lovely together and the scarf is particularly lovely and soft. A great gift for yourself or someone you love.
Yarn: 50 g Hana – 125 m / 25 g (60% wool, 20% silk and 20% alpaca) and 20 g Sensai – 240 m / 20 g (60% kid mohair and 40% silk)
Recommended needle: 4,5 mm
Measurements: approx. 96 cm width and approx. 40 cm length/ centre height (after washing and blocking)
Before wash: approx. 78 cm width (along top edge from side to side) and approx. 39 cm length/ centre height
Gauge: approx. 20 sts x 40 rows in garter stitch on needle 4,5 mm = 10 x 10 cm
The needle size is just a recommendation. Use the needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
Info: The scarf is worked flat on a circular needle. Start at the top.
In even rows, you work yarn overs. The following rows (odd rows), the yarn overs are worked as regular knit stitches. The scarf is worked with double thread, 1 thread ITO Hana and 1 thread ITO Sensai.
